Have you got the skills, the experience, and the passion to work in the manufacturing trade or simply looking for a career change? Have you recently graduated from trade school or just have an interest in working for an all-Australian Manufacturing company with the willingness to learn the trade? Well, you are in luck!

Sportscruiser Caravans are an Australian Manufacturing Caravan company, locally owned and operated using only Australian suppliers, and creating quality, strong, lightweight composite fiberglass vans for both touring and off-road exploration. Our workshop is located in Kunda Park operating 5 days a week. We have had an unprecedented increase in demand and interest recently and are experiencing incredible growth which has now allowed us to expand our work family and are seeking quality staff to join our team on a casual basis.

We are looking for a tradesperson/s for our small business, manufacturing caravans. The successful applicant will be passionate about contributing positively to an Australian Manufacturing company, delivering the highest quality of workmanship with pride and having strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role is desired however not necessary.

Successful applicants must have:

·An excellent work ethic and positive values

·Intuition and problem-solving ability

·Relevant previous experience or fast learning capability

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·Strong organisational, time management skills and attention to detail to ensure the highest level and quality of workmanship

·Previous experience with the safe use of power tools

The tradesperson will report to the company director and will be responsible for:

·Fit-out of caravans with parts and accessories

·Writing and following job descriptions

·Cleaning and organising in the workshop

·Other tasks will be given according to the skills, experience and qualifications of the successful applicant which may include working with power tools, 12-volt wiring, cabinetry and silicone beading, which will assist in the manufacturing of caravans.

Desired but not necessary:

·Experienced use of silicone

·Experience in cabinet making/fitting

·Knowledge and/or experience with electrical circuits

·Certificate 3 in a relevant trade
